HISTORY:

From the time Duncan could walk he enjoyed anything with wheels and if it had a motor on it, he loved it even that more. He was always found riding something from big wheels, to bikes, from lawn mowers to motorcycles and quads to his racecars!

But one day a business acquaintance of Duncan’s Dad, John, brought in a video tape of what his sons did that past weekend in Oaklane, PA. Dad thought it was cool and called mom to get her approval and Mom said, “of course”! At that time, he had missed the Spring Novice School and had to wait for the Summer Novice School and he started on July 22, 1995 – He was 5 years old and disappeared behind the steering wheel.

Dad learned to research before he bought Duncan’s next car!

Duncan's career in QMs included several wins and three National events, in which he made the "A" main every time.

Duncan started racing Legends in 2002 in a replica '37 Chevy coupe his family named "Herbie". He competed in at Old Dominion Speedway in Manassas, VA, a high banked track several hundred miles away from his home in New Jersey. New Jersey has an age limit of 18 for people competing on race tracks over a certain size.

In 2004, Dad John made the decision to put Duncan's driving development into the hands of Virginian, Kevin Yeatts, a 3 time Pro Legends champion in his home state and a multiple time winner on the circuit. With Yeatts building and maintaining the cars and helping both Duncan and Patrick on the track, the results were immediate and dramatic. Duncan picked up a win in dominant fashion in Flat Rock, MI and earned his first NJ semi-pro state title.

2005 saw even more improvement as Duncan learned how to win and picked up victories at six different tracks in VA, PA, and MI. Coupled with a fifth place finish in the Pro "A main" at the 2005 nationals, Duncan and his parents have made the decision to move Duncan to a Grand Stock ride for 2006. In making the move still at the tender age of 16, Duncan hopes to keep his progression to the big leagues on the fast track.

QUARTER MIDGETS-
Duncan started racing quarter midgets when he was 5 years old. His home track was Garden State Quarter Midget Racing Club. After moving up to the Jr. Stock division we began to travel and soon became members of Oaklane Quarter Midget Racing Club also. In Duncan's QM carreer he collected over 100+ wins in many divisions. In his 8 year QM carreer he attended 4 National Events where he made the A Main at all events.

LEGENDS-
When Duncan was 12 years old, he got his first Legends Car. With the help of his Dad, John Molesworth and a friend Eddie Waake Duncan traveld down to Manassas VA 9 times for his Rookie year in Legends. Over all for a 12 year old, he did pretty darn well....finished 17th in points. The next year, again with the help of Eddie and John, Molesworthracing expanded to Duncan's younger brother Patrick and Eddie's son Casey. Duncan finished 13th in points in 2003 and he made the A'Main at the Nationals held in Kenly SC.. He had a broken oil line which was spattering oil all over his windshild and Duncan did his best to just to follow the guy in front of him to finish 21st. That was after he barrel rolled and almost destroyed "Herbie" his #53 Ford '37 Coupe. That is where we met Kevin Yeatts.

The following year in 2004 was the most important influential turning point of Duncans racing career to date. One day at the track, late in the season, Kevin Yeatts approached John and discussed what potential Kevin saw in Duncan. Over the winter months, John and Kevin came to an agreement to hire Kevin as Crew Chief. It was a simple and no brainer....Let's see, John who works in an office can work on his kids car or lets have a 3 time track champion and VA state champion work on the cars!! What we had hoped for Duncan in 2004 was a top 10 win...What we got was 3rd place points at ODS. I do have to mention that the Setups from Kevin Yeatts are compounded with the hardwork and efforst from his Lovely Wife, Carolyn and his long-time best friend, Larry Radvany.

With a successful season at ODS, we decided to take the team to the Nationals in Las Vegas. The 2004 Nationals found the Molesworth Boys finishing 7th and 9th.....Duncan & Patrick respectfully. As a side note, we would like to thank the Vegas Crew - Ryan "Skippy" Flores, Kieth Flores, Mike Hall and Jeff Cadott..
The adventure of hauling the cars across country proved to be beneficial. Since the boys finished in the top 10 at the Nationals, they were invited to the PRI show held in Orlando. This was the first time the PRI show was in Ocala and the first time the INEX Legends raced in their program.
